Tea Tree
According to legend, tea was accidentally discovered by the Chinese emperor Shen Nung in 2737 BC.
Boiling some water in the shade of a tea tree, a few of its leaves accidentally fell into the emperor's water. Shen Nung was mesmerized by the aroma and taste of his drink and also noted its tonic and stimulating effect.
The first to bring it to Europe was Marco Polo.
It has antimicrobial and antibacterial and antiseptic properties. It is thought to have soothing properties that can help with respiratory congestion during colds.
It also has stimulating and revitalizing properties that can improve mood, mental clarity, and overall well-being.
